So after all the fun we had these are the things that were left behind. If any of them look familiar to you please contact us so you can pick them up.

Youth Conference Itineary

Thursday June 26th Fun at Canyon Rim Park

6:00-9:00 pm

We are meeting at Canyon Rim Park's East Pavilion for
Dinner and Games
















Sleep at home

Friday June 27th-Service Project & Brighton Camp

8:00am Meet at Stake Center
8:30 arrive this is the place state park for service project
Build a steadfast and immoveable wall

12:00-1:00 lunch
1:00 Depart for Brighton Camp facilities

1:45 -2:45 Check in and self orientation-

2:45-6:00 activities

Youth divided into 4 groups each group will do two of the 4 activities on Friday and the other 2 on Saturday.
Activities= zip line, rappelling, iron rod, hike
2:45-4:15 first activity
4:20 -6:00 2nd activity


Saturday June 28th -- Brighton and home

8:30 am Deacons and Beehives back to Brighton
7:30 am revelry and Pack up
8:30-9:30 Breakfast

9:30-12:45 activities
Youth divided into 4 groups, each group will do the two activities they did not do on Friday.
Activities= zip line, rappelling, ropes (egg), hike
9:30-11:00 first activity
11:05-12:45 second activity
12:45-1:30 lunch and Depart- Return home- end of youth conference

Youth Leader Information

Sunday, June 22
1-Provide an accurate count of youth attending each day reporting beehives and deacons separately from the 14 to 18 years old youth.
2-Provide list and schedule of two-deep adult leadership for each day.
3-Distribute packing list to youth and conduct and pack inspection prior to transporting youth to events to check that each youth has the equipment and clothing they will need.

Thursday, June 26
4-Transport Youth to and from park activity Thursday, June 26. Activity begins at the park at 6:00 to 8:30. Youth home by 9:00pm
5-Bring 4 doz cookies from each ward.
6-Attend adult leader orientation meeting at the park.
7-Assist with Games.

Friday, June 27
8-Check that all youth have brought the items on the packing list provided, including a sack lunch before arriving at Stake Center.
9-Provide a cooler to store the lunches.
10-Meet at Stake Center Friday morning June27 at 8:00 am packed and ready for service project and overnight stay at Brighton Camp.
11-Provide 6 (not 8)- 5 gal buckets with handles from each ward.
12-Transport youth to This is the Place State Park for service project.
13-Assist with organizing and managing youth to perform assigned tasks for wall building.
14-Transport youth to Brighton Camp.
15-Receive Chaperone assignments and instruction for sleeping cabins
16-Assist with activities as assigned.
17-Transport Deacons and Beehives back to homes in Salt Lake at 9:30 pm.

Saturday, June 28
18-Transport Deacons and Beehives back up to Brighton Camp by 8:30 am if assigned.
19-Assist in rousing the youth for breakfast, packing up and assist with cleaning assignments.
20-Breakfast at 8:30am
21-Assist with activities as assigned.
22-Transport Youth back to Salt Lake and their homes at 1:30 pm.

Directions to Brighton Camp

Take I-215 south to 6200 South Exit and go left (east) to Big Cottonwood Canyon Turn left Proceed up Big Cottonwood canyon past Solitude Ski resort to Brighton Ski resort (pretty much the end of the line).


















Proceed to the Brighton Center Bldg (Light Grey Bldg with Wood pillars and green sign)
Take the road directly left of the Brighton Center


The road will turn to gravel and bend to the right. Continue under the ski lift and into the trees. Follow the Highland Stake signs to the Parking lot. Then unload and meet on the Lawn by the Totem Pole.
